Baby Claribel wins the award for being the most awake baby I've ever taken photos of. She was wide awake and comfortable staring at my big window with the heater keeping her happy. I learned a new trick as well. Cornstarch can keep a bow on even the wiggliest of babies and through multiple outfit changes. Welcome to the world little one!

Location: In home Fresh off of Christmas break, I was lucky enough to help out two friends get updated picture for 2020. The first session was for adorable grand-kids in their Grandma's living room. We placed everyone in front of the biggest window for natural light and then got the kids to smile. Location: Provo Center Street
The second session was for a great friend who is venturing out into the acting world. Mandy needed updated headshots and other poses for her profile. I've took her seniors way back when and she is still just as cute as ever. Location: Vivian Park
This location screamed Christmas! The green pines, white snow, and the red branches. The Berretts braved 3 inches of snow to get lovely festive pictures up behind Vivian Park. They wanted current pictures of their family before they go to clan of 5. It's wonderful to have these memories to remember how cute your babies are. Location: In home
This family is amazing and I love them. I'm so grateful I was able to capture these pictures for them in the beautiful falling snow. Their porch was perfect for the big group of 20 we had and if you could have seen me, I was on top of a ladder to get level shots. This session embodied what this giveaway represents. A deserving family. Memories to treasure forever. I hope you all enjoy the heck out of your trip to Disney World! The Story After working together as Americorps Vistas, I was grateful that Angela became more than a co-worker. She grew to be a great friend that strengthened my testimony and had me laugh until my sides hurt. Years later, when I was building my portfolio before I started my photography business, I felt prompted to reach out to her for a free family session. It turned out that she hadn't had updated family pictures for 7 years. We had a great session at Provo Castle while we rebonded over Harry Potter and Johnny Depp. It was like time and distance hadn't effected our friendship at all. 2 weeks after our session, Angela unexpectedly passed away. With the bittersweet gift of hindsight, I've realized that was why Heavenly Father impressed upon me to reach out and take her family pictures. I know the memories of laughter, love, and moments of family I was able to capture is a gift that her family will forever cherish. I am also grateful for the short 5 years Angela was able to bless my life. THe GiveAway To honor Angela's memory, I want to gift a deserving family with a free family session. The session includes:
In order to enter,
There is no limit on entries from any one person. Time for entries will run from 11/07/19 at 8am to 12/01/19 at 12pm. The winner will be randomly selected and announced 12/02/19 at 2pm then contacted through private message. The prize is restricted to non-extended family groups and to Utah County locations only. My photography business has never been about making money. I feel that it is a talent that can be used to bless the lives of others and that is payment enough for me. This giveaway in particular has been a goal I've had in mind from the beginning. I hope it can help start to give back for the many blessings I have received in my life. To the family who wins, I look forward to meeting you and giving you a gift to cherish forever. Megan |
