Location: American Fork Canyon - American Fork, UT
Being February, I don't think we could have picked a warmer day to go up the canyon. The weather was the perfect temperature. With just light layers, baby boy didn't even get a red or runny nose. After we took some pictures at the bridge, we continued up the trail and it just got more beautiful. Perfect family, perfect location.

Location: Vivian Park
This location screamed Christmas! The green pines, white snow, and the red branches. The Berretts braved 3 inches of snow to get lovely festive pictures up behind Vivian Park. They wanted current pictures of their family before they go to clan of 5. It's wonderful to have these memories to remember how cute your babies are. Location: In home
This family is amazing and I love them. I'm so grateful I was able to capture these pictures for them in the beautiful falling snow. Their porch was perfect for the big group of 20 we had and if you could have seen me, I was on top of a ladder to get level shots. This session embodied what this giveaway represents. A deserving family. Memories to treasure forever. I hope you all enjoy the heck out of your trip to Disney World! Location: Blacksmith Fork Canyon - Logan, UT
My clan and I spent a day up in Logan before meeting for the Thurston family's session scheduled later in the afternoon. We love Logan and wished we lived closer so we could visit, camp, and play more. Seconds into the canyon, we were in awe of how beautiful the location was. Snow hugging every bush and blanketing the ground. Snow is the perfect reflector to make skin glow. A photographer's heaven. But sometimes things don't go as you plan. Sometimes little ones fall asleep right before you arrive at your session and they cry the whole time you're trying to capture some moments on camera. That's life. Children are the most unpredictable blessing of photography and you worked with what you get. You still get some winners and shots of Mom and Dad lovingly looking at each other despite the bit of chaos. Miracles happens. Like, little Emma finally warming up for quick family shot after watching my son playing in the snow. Or, getting perfect ones of Mom and Dad while their babies were still sleeping. You can't even tell the weather was 32 by the look on their faces! Parenthood is tough but it's worth it. I wouldn't trade the memories, learning, and growth for a second. When Katie first told me her plans for our photo session, I was stoked. She is so creative coming up with such a fun idea and she even changed the scoreboard to say "2017" and "UVU". So smart! She also managed to get safely anywhere on the ice in those heels. I, however, fell flat on my butt once as I was cautiously shuffling to get a better angle. No damage done except a beautiful bruise on my backside. Congrats on graduating College, Katie! That is no small feat!
