Location: Mack Park - Smithfield, UT
A lot has changed since COVID came a-knockin'. I moved to Cache Valley and am based up here now. It's a beautiful area and I can't wait to explore the locations this valley has to offer. My new distance didn't stop a lovely family from coming to visit for an updated family session. The last time we were together was in 2020. You can check out their first session with me here. Since then, this cute family has added a handsome guy to the bunch. It was also my first time figuring out a place for us to shoot. Mack Park was perfect! It was wonderful to see you, Sorensens, and see how your cute family has grown!

When at a family reunion, one must take advantage of the gorgeous, new locale and take your neice's senior photos! We couldn't have found a better place for her fierce, red hair!! It was fun to explore and Kai was sucha natural when it came to posing. I felt like it only took seconds to get "the shot" and everyone was so pretty. I know I'm biased but see for yourself! I'm not lying. Location: Blacksmith Fork Canyon - Logan, UT
My clan and I spent a day up in Logan before meeting for the Thurston family's session scheduled later in the afternoon. We love Logan and wished we lived closer so we could visit, camp, and play more. Seconds into the canyon, we were in awe of how beautiful the location was. Snow hugging every bush and blanketing the ground. Snow is the perfect reflector to make skin glow. A photographer's heaven. But sometimes things don't go as you plan. Sometimes little ones fall asleep right before you arrive at your session and they cry the whole time you're trying to capture some moments on camera. That's life. Children are the most unpredictable blessing of photography and you worked with what you get. You still get some winners and shots of Mom and Dad lovingly looking at each other despite the bit of chaos. Miracles happens. Like, little Emma finally warming up for quick family shot after watching my son playing in the snow. Or, getting perfect ones of Mom and Dad while their babies were still sleeping. You can't even tell the weather was 32 by the look on their faces! Parenthood is tough but it's worth it. I wouldn't trade the memories, learning, and growth for a second. |
