Location: In home Baby Claribel wins the award for being the most awake baby I've ever taken photos of. She was wide awake and comfortable staring at my big window with the heater keeping her happy. I learned a new trick as well. Cornstarch can keep a bow on even the wiggliest of babies and through multiple outfit changes. Welcome to the world little one!

Location: Home studio - Provo, UT Nothing is more fun than taking your own baby's newborns. I can take my sweet time with no pressure to hurry. And if they need a break to eat, I don't feel awkward about stopping the session to do so. Baby Evelyn was wide awake and only interested in looking out my big, bright, white window. Then it took a lot of rocking to get her to fall asleep for some sweet close-ups. And what a cutie trying eat her fox doll I made. I love being her Momma! Location: In Home - Provo, UT Welcome Baby Noah! This sweet little one came early because he was so excited to meet his wonderful family. It wasn't long ago that I took his older brother's newborns. Crazy how time flies. For this session, I invested in a new newborn posing pillow, a bigger stage, and used my own studio lighting. This was so I could fit brother and sister in for some sibling shots. I'm happy with how these turned out and excited to keep practicing. I loved working with this squirmy, little prince. Such a cutie! This session brought back memories of when I took big brother Zane's pictures. He's grown up to be such a good brother. Now, we are here, a short while later, introducing to newest member of the Francis family, Miles. Miles was sleepy and content just laying there. It will be fun to see what shenanigans these two boys get up to since they are so close in age. What a cutie you are Miles! We even took a couple of Zane for good measure. Welcome to the world, little one! Phillip Xavier born September 4 at 4:09pm. He has been the best baby and adjusting to a family of 4 has been seamless. He also was wonderfully easy to photograph in my make-shift studio at home. I love his little face, wide eyes, and perfect fingers and toes. I'm so grateful to be his Momma. His older brother is also thrilled to have someone to cuddle. |
