Nothing is cuter than 3 boys in matching bowties! For my last mini-session of 2018, and the last session before the color change of fall, I got to giggle and play as these little hams for the camera smiled their hearts out. I loved getting to know this family. Chatting with the parents, they laughed as they recognized how easy this shoot was because they didn't have to dress-up themselves. I'm with ya on that. Amen.

30 people?! There's lots of love to go around with a beautiful family of this size and they have the cutest faces! It's amazing to see all the joy and happiness that can come from two people falling in love. Congrats to Brad and Julie for having such a beautiful, strong, and close family. We love you all so much! For the big group shot, I set up my tripod and posed everybody before I ran over with my remote. We took that picture first because everyone's, especially the little ones, attentions allowed them to cooperate a lot easier. I'm pretty proud of how they turned out! As I was scanning through my collection of photos, I realized that I have a lot of goofballs in my midst. I'm gathered the best of them here in a gallery that I would like to affectionately call "The Goofball Series". It's important to know I have a lot of fun at my sessions and our giggles bring so much more to the end result. By sharing this, I would like to highlight the fun and beauty that is all around us if we just take a moment to laugh.

Congrats to the Maunders on being the largest non-extended family I been given the opportunity to shoot! Also, let's throw in 3 gorgeous dogs to even things up ;) We headed up Provo Canyon to find the perfect little spot by Vivian Park. It's amazing how many different settings you can create out of one location in the woods. I had a blast with this family as we were laughing in between shots and chatting about our neighborhood. I'm also grateful that the lovely spring breeze was perfect to keep us comfortable throughout the session. Thank you nature! Location: Salem Pond, UT
This was my first referral session and my first time at Salem Pond. Thank you to whomever lives in Lehi that suggested RTP to this cute family. I enjoyed meeting the Bakkers on this freezing and windy day. It just so happened that I had left our Batman blanket in the car so little Blake was able to stay warm in between shots. It was a funny process of rip the blanket off, take a bunch of pictures, and then hurry back to the warmth. The Bakkers were real troopers! |
