What a beautiful golden setting that I wasn't even planning on! The best part was that I didn't need to edit any of these shots. So perfect in every way. The Johansen boys kept me laughing the whole time. From the baby's "Oooo" face to the eldest's wacky poses, it felt like our session went by too fast. This family gets 5 stars in the humor department!

When Katie first told me her plans for our photo session, I was stoked. She is so creative coming up with such a fun idea and she even changed the scoreboard to say "2017" and "UVU". So smart! She also managed to get safely anywhere on the ice in those heels. I, however, fell flat on my butt once as I was cautiously shuffling to get a better angle. No damage done except a beautiful bruise on my backside. Congrats on graduating College, Katie! That is no small feat!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kora a year ago when I was an assistant Camp Director and she was a YCL. Even though she comes across as shy/quiet initially, I got to see a crazy and hilarious side. What can I say? That's what Girls Camp does! Now she is a senior with plans to graduate early in February! Way to go Kora! Good luck with the rest of your school year! I love that I live within walking distance of a lot of beautiful parks that serve as great locations for my photography sessions. Paul Reams has so many backdrops for you to choose from that it will feel like you went to more than one location. Trajan is the first Senior BOY that I've taken pictures for and he was a blast to shoot. His family and mine are good friends and we love hanging out with them. It's crazy to think how fast time goes by and how fast kids really do grow up. I hope you make the most of a great Senior year and have tons of fun, Trajan! As I was scanning through my collection of photos, I realized that I have a lot of goofballs in my midst. I'm gathered the best of them here in a gallery that I would like to affectionately call "The Goofball Series". It's important to know I have a lot of fun at my sessions and our giggles bring so much more to the end result. By sharing this, I would like to highlight the fun and beauty that is all around us if we just take a moment to laugh.
