Sometimes your client has to cancel due to unforeseen scheduling issues and wonderfully, it turns into a tiny blessing. I was able to take that hour meant for my session and walk around Paul Reams Wilderness Park and Provo River Trail. I embraced the small details with my 50mm f/1.8 lens as I casually strolled back to my house. So beautiful.

I love that I live within walking distance of a lot of beautiful parks that serve as great locations for my photography sessions. Paul Reams has so many backdrops for you to choose from that it will feel like you went to more than one location. Trajan is the first Senior BOY that I've taken pictures for and he was a blast to shoot. His family and mine are good friends and we love hanging out with them. It's crazy to think how fast time goes by and how fast kids really do grow up. I hope you make the most of a great Senior year and have tons of fun, Trajan! Phew! These pictures have been a long time coming. I mean, my baby is 1 and these are the first family pictures that we've had. Planning out and taking your own pictures are more stressful than you think going in. It's hard not being the one looking through the camera. You set the camera in place, get all of your setting just right, and pray for the best. All I can say is, hallelujah, the results turned out better than I thought they would. This was a learning experience for sure. Note to Self: If I am going to repeat this again, wardrobe must be picked out and decided on the day before. Hours of my life were lost, people. To celebrate Izzy turning one, some new pictures with her best friend and older sister were in order. This was my first photo session with kids and it was so fun to get them to smile and giggle. I'll do just about anything to be goofy if I can get happy faces. I love how their eyes popped with the light and green environment. Location: Paul Reams Wilderness Park - Provo, UT
These two were real troopers following me around in the rain for a couple of shots. I'm grateful for their commitment to help me out and put a smile on. And how cool is it to shoot with a beautiful motorcycle and have such a lovely lady on your arm? |
